Cure SMA Hockey Night with Sun Life Financial, in Honor of Isaac Bliven
This August, our Sun Life work family learned the heartbreaking news that Isaac Bliven was diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy)—a muscular degenerative disease and the number one genetic cause of death for infants. Since then, we have learned more about the difficult road ahead, but also about new hope in the form of recent drug breakthroughs.
To show our continued support, please join us at the Hartford Wolf Pack hockey game on Friday, February 23rd at 7:15pm. $5.00 from each ticket purchased in advance (through Sun Life or the Blivens) will go directly to Cure SMA—a nonprofit that funds research and provides families the support they need.
If you are unable to attend the game and wish to make an online donation, please use the DONATE link to the right. Sun Life employees who submit their donation receipts to the Philanthropy site will receive a 1x1 match from Sun Life!
Without the support and outreach from Cure SMA, the Blivens said they would’ve felt entirely lost after Isaac’s diagnosis. Please click on the above topics if you want to learn more about the disease, the organization and the treatment options..
For additional information on purchasing Wolfpack tickets, please contact Greg Sobin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks in advance for your support. Go get 'em, Isaac! And go, Wolf Pack!
